Young superstar Zac Efron stars in a romantic fantasy adapted from the acclaimed novel. The eponymous hero of Charlie St Cloud is a young man overcome by grief at the death of his younger brother Sam during a tragic accident which he is responsible for. Charlie dies too for a brief moment but is brought back to life by the skill of a paramedic. From that moment on, Charlie makes a sacrificial decision to live his life in the past. Then, a girl comes into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.
